What happened to Dollar General, a new hotel and more

In last week's news, we wrote about a Dollar General planned for Allouez, but after the site plans were approved, the company decided not to build. However, it is still possible for the company to move forward with the project, should it change its mind.

A project that was completed and opened its doors is the new Cobblestone Hotel & Suites in Denmark. This new hotel opened on Aug. 30, and aims to provide a space for travelers who want to stay outside of the city.

Last week I wrote about a new restaurant coming to Green Bay's downtown. Latin Flavor Restaurant Bar and Grill opened on Labor Day, with a menu offering a mix of Mexican and Dominican cuisine.

I also wrote about the closure of LL Flooring in the town of Lawrence. The company announced an agreement to sell most of its stores, but this location didn't make the cut.

Finally, we published a story about a new biogas plant that came online last month. The plant is in the town of Hilbert, in Calumet county.
