Social media reactions: Packers announced as Eagles' Week 1 opponent in Brazil

The Green Bay Packers will be the Philadelphia Eagles' Week 1 game on Friday, September 6th in Brazil, the NFL announced on Wednesday .

The reactions were plentiful on 94WIP and social media, immediately following the announcement.

"Don't you feel like you've lost out on something as an Eagles fan, because it's a home game, right?" Rhea Hughes asked on the 94WIP Morning Show.

"Especially the Packers. I could have lived with it if it was the Browns. The Packers game I want to see that in person."

"I agree with you there is more of a storied thing there... But I will say, I can understand the league going there to kickoff the season. I mean, Jalen Hurts versus Jordan Love, pretty compelling nationally."
