The Green Bay Packers will be looking to build off of a better-than-anticipated 2023 campaign in 2024. Not many people expected the team to be good last season, and it looked like the doubters would be right when Green Bay started 2-5.

But, once quarterback Jordan Love got hot, the results turned. The Packers would win seven out of their last 10 games, earning the final Wild Card spot in the NFC. They took advantage, convincingly defeating the Dallas Cowboys during Super Wild Card Weekend before giving the San Francisco 49ers all they could handle in the divisional round.

Heading into the 2024 season, there are some expectations in Green Bay, as people are expecting them to take that next step. They will be tested right out of the gate, facing the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 1.

The Eagles are looking to bounce back from a disappointing 2023 campaign, which saw them bounced during Super Wild Card Weekend by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. After making their way to the Super Bowl in the 2022 season, things fell apart in Philadelphia in 2023.

Not only will Week 1 be an important one down the road for NFC standings, but the Packers and Eagles are also going to be making NFL history. They are going to face off in the first-ever regular season game in South America.

It has officially been announced that on Friday, September 6th, at Corinthians Arena in Sao Paulo, Brazil, the Green Bay Packers will face off against the Philadelphia Eagles. This is a huge deal for the NFL, as they are looking to expand their brand even more.

That is one of five international games that will be taking place during the 2024 season. The other four games will all be heading across the pond to Europe. For three weeks in London, the NFL will host games at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and Wembley Stadium.

The Jacksonville Jaguars will be playing in back-to-back games in Weeks 6 and 7. In October, the International games conclude in Germany when the New York Giants take on the Carolina Panthers.
