GREEN BAY - Drivers traveling the Ray Nitschke Memorial Bridge , which connects Main and Dousman streets, will have to deal with traffic slowdowns starting July 22.

The bridge will be reduced to one lane in each direction for preventive maintenance weekdays between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. July 22 through Aug. 9, the Green Bay Public Works Department announced.

The bridge will remain open to vehicles with single-lane closures from North Broadway to North Washington Street during this time.

No detour will be posted by the department. Drivers are encouraged to find their own alternate routes.
