Packers star sticking around in Green Bay after reportedly landing new deal

The Green Bay Packers have had a great offseason so far and it isn't even over yet.

Training camp is right around the corner and things are looking up for the Packers. Green Bay had a great 2023 season and has even higher expectations heading into the 2024 campaign after an upset postseason win.

The Packers have had a strong offseason while giving more weapons to star quarterback Jordan Love and made a solid move on Sunday to maintain continuity on their defense. Green Bay reportedly agreed to a contract extension with star nose tackle Kenny Clark, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

"Packers Pro-Bowl nose tackle Kenny Clark signed a three-year, $64 million extension today with Green Bay, per sources," Schefter said. "The deal was negotiated by Wasserman agents Doug Hendrickson and CJ LaBoy and pays Clark $29 million in 2024 and could bring his career earnings to over $150 million."

Clark has spent his entire eight-year National Football League career with the Packers and it sounds like he isn't going anywhere anytime soon. He has developed into a true defensive star and has been named a Pro Bowler three times, including in 2023.

Things are looking up for the Packers and the fact that Clark will be sticking around for the foreseeable future should be a welcomed sight.
