Even though he left the Green Bay Packers in 2023, it seems like Aaron Rodgers will always be a cheesehead at heart.

For the Packers, it's hard to think of a more heartbreaking moment in recent memory than when Aaron Rodgers left Green Bay for the New York Jets. But even though he isn't physically at Lambeau Field, it looks like his soul has never left.

During a recent appearance on the "Pardon My Take" podcast, host Dan "Big Cat" Katz, a diehard Bears fan, thanked Rodgers for "not being in his life anymore." However, Rodgers was quick to remind him that this didn't change anything. "But then the Bears lost to J-Love and the Packers twice last year," Rodgers retorted.

Rodgers was then asked whether he thought rookie Caleb Williams was a good QB.

"Yeah, I do," Rodgers said . "I like (D'Andre) Swift, I like Keenan (Allen), I like the receiver from Washington (Rome Odunze), he's good. And then, of course, you still got DJ (Moore). I think that team is almost good enough to beat the Packers. Almost good enough."

It's clear that a season away from Green Bay cannot erase 18 years of history, most of which featured Rodgers dominating Chicago on the gridiron. The three-time MVP is 24-5 against the Bears , going undefeated from 2018-2022.

Rodgers' commitment to the rivalry was most evident when he scored a rushing touchdown against the Bears in 2021, screaming to the Chicago crowd, "I own you. I still own you. I've owned you all my f****** life."

Now that Rodgers is in the American Football Conference, it's highly unlikely that we'll see him "own" the Bears again. However, it is the NFL, and anything can happen.
