Green Bay Packers: Jayden Reed Has a Clear Goal for 2024

Coming into the season, there is a lot of optimism surrounding the Green Bay Packers on the offensive side of the ball. Jordan Love had a great first season as the starting quarterback and could potentially be in the MVP conversation this coming season.

While Love is poised for great things, he also has some talented young weapons around him. After years of the Packers relying heavily on Davante Adams at wide receiver, they now have a nice young core with a lot of potential.

One of the young players who had a great season in 2023 for the Green Bay Packers was wide receiver Jayden Reed. Coming out of Michigan State, Reed was selected in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft and had an instant impact on the field for Green Bay.

Last season, Reed totaled 64 receptions, 793 receiving yards, and eight receiving touchdowns. After a really strong rookie season, Reed is very clear on what he wants to accomplish in his second season.

Reed hitting the 1,000-yard mark is an excellent goal to strive for and is a very realistic one considering what the Packers’ offense should look like this coming season. Reed led the Packers last season in both receptions and receiving yards while tying for the lead in receiving touchdowns.

As a rookie, that is very impressive for Reed, and now he is focused on building upon that. One thing that could hold Reed back this coming season is the amount of talent around him.

The Packers aren’t short on weapons heading into 2024,. While Reed may have led the team in most receiving categories last season, there are a lot of other good players around him.

As the Packers look to try and get to the Super Bowl this season, Reed will certainly be one of the young players to keep an eye on, as he has a ton of potential entering his second season.
