Green Bay Packers: Jordan Love Receives Shockingly Low Ranking Coming into 2024

As the Green Bay Packers get ready for the start of the 2024 season, most are excited about what Jordan Love can do as a starter in his second full season. After taking over for Aaron Rodgers in 2023, Love helped lead the Packers to the postseason and defeated the Dallas Cowboys on the road in the playoffs.

As one of the best quarterbacks in the league in the second half of the season, many believe Love is primed for a potential MVP-caliber season in 2024. However, not everyone is a believer in Love just yet, as the sample size is small.

Recently, Dakota Randall of Pro Football Network ranked all the quarterbacks in the league. Shockingly, Love came in ranked 13th. Here’s what Randall had to say.

“Congratulations, Packers fans: You somehow found another franchise quarterback.

Are we getting ahead of ourselves? Maybe. After all, Love basically sat for the first three seasons of his career and didn’t look great in his limited opportunities.”

Seeing Love coming in ranked at 13th is surprising considering the stellar season that he put together in 2023. While it might have been just one season as the starter for Green Bay, Love totaled over 30 touchdown passes, which puts him near the top of the league in that category.

While Love doesn’t yet deserve to be ahead of players like Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, or Joe Burrow, it was very surprising to see Kyler Murray above him on the list.

As of now, Love is an MVP candidate going into 2024, with only quarterbacks above him in terms of having better odds. With the fifth-best odds to be the MVP, Love should be considered a Top 10 quarterback in the league coming into 2024.

If Love isn’t a Top 10 quarterback in the league this season, it would not only be shocking, but very problematic for the Packers.
