The Duplex Cabaret Theatre Re-opens on Tuesday, October 15 with Immersive Ferry’s Landing NYC
Two years ago a roof fire destroyed the upstairs Cabaret Theatre at the legendary Duplex, and at the time it wasn’t clear what the future of the space would hold (even though the ground floor bar/restaurant wasn’t affected). Now the Duplex upstairs is scheduled to reopen on Tuesday, October 15 as a new destination for immersive queer entertainment, turning a new chapter in a history that began in the 1950s and that has been consistently an incubator for rising stars and major talent.
DUI Crash on Observer Highway, Driver Arrested
HOBOKEN, NJ - On July 7, 2024, at approximately 2:40 a.m., Police Officer Anthony Rutkowski heard a loud noise that sounded like a motor vehicle crash near the area of Newark Street and Washington Street. Car Crashes on Hyatt Hills Golf Course in Clark
Clark, NJ — A single-vehicle accident occurred on the Hyatt Hills Golf Course, located at 1300 Raritan Rd, Sunday evening. NJ man dies a hero after rescuing children from dangerous river
HAMILTON (Atlantic) — A man who rescued two boys from a river Wednesday afternoon died several hours later. Township police said the boys, ages 8 and 12, went swimming in the Great Egg Harbor River at Weymouth Furnace County Park around 1 p.m. on July 17. Swimming is prohibited.
