Madison Council Meeting is Monday July 22
MADISON, NJ - The Madison Council will hold their monthly council meeting, Monday July 22. The meeting will be in person and livestreamed on YouTube. Members of the public who wish to participate in the meeting may do so by joining us in-person at Hartley Dodge Memorial Council Chamber or view the live stream of the meeting on YouTube or below at 8:00 P.M. on the day of the meeting. Individuals in-person will be able to fully participate in the meeting, including providing public comment. Members watching the live stream will not be able to provide public comments. The Grace Foundation’s Christmas in July brings Santa Claus, smiles to Staten Island
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — It was a day of smiles and fun as hundreds attended The Grace Foundation’s first annual Christmas in July celebration Saturday. From noon to 4 p.m., 460 Brielle Avenue in Sea View was transformed into a special place where children and adults could enjoy a skating rink, bouncy houses, music, and arts and crafts. Guests were greeted with traditional Christmas music, thanks to outdoor speakers.
Longtime Union Resident Celebrates 100th Birthday with Family and Friends
UNION, NJ - Family and friends gathered together on Saturday to celebrate the 100th birthday of longtime Union resident Mary Izzo. Izzo was born on July 17, 1924. She moved from Newark to Union in 1965. She raised five children and became a consummate volunteer, including as the town's Girl Scout troop organizer, as the leader of Troop 588 for twenty years, and as a Washington Rock Girl Scout delegate. Developers Secure $69 Million Bridge Loan for Mason Gray At 959 Sterling Place In Crown Heights, Brooklyn
Invictus Real Estate Partners, a New York-based vertically integrated real estate private equity company, has announced the closing of a $69 million pre-TCO bridge loan for the Mason Gray, a residential property at 959 Sterling Place in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. The loan will support the completion of minor construction work on the seven-story building, allowing leasing to begin. Walker & Dunlop’s Mike Diaz and Aaron Appel arranged the financing for the project, which was developed by Hope Street Capital.
