Rocky Mount man arrested for assaulting his mother with a cane
A Morgan County man is arrested for severely assaulting his mother in Miller County. Rakan Penfield, of Rocky Mount, was taken into custody Wednesday on charges of first-degree domestic assault and armed criminal action. His bond was set at $200,000 and he’s to be fitted with a GPS tracking device to ensure he stays away from his mother.
