Multiple suspects were arrested this past weekend in connection to an assault in the city of Green, according to the Summit County Sheriff's Office.

Sheriff deputies responded to reports of a fight on Arlington Ridge at about 7 p.m. on July 13. When deputies arrived on the scene, they discovered a 25-year-old male with injuries. Witnesses told deputies multiple suspects wearing masks got out of different vehicles and attacked the victim. The suspects later fled the scene.

The victim was transported to Akron General Hospital by the Green Fire Department, according to a release.

Deputies later located one of the vehicles and found the occupants were still wearing the masks described by witnesses. The suspects were all identified as males ranging from 15 to 20 years old. Deputies discovered a handgun in the vehicle as well, the release said.

All four suspects were arrested and charged with felonious assault and carrying a concealed weapon. The adult suspects, both 20 with one from Akron and the other from Mansfield, were transported to Summit County Jail. The minors, a 15- and 17-year-old from Akron, were taken to the Summit County Juvenile Detention Center.

Additional charges are pending the investigation's outcome.
