Morgan Properties Acquires 11-Property Portfolio in Pennsylvania
KING OF PRUSSIA, PA. — Morgan Properties, a development and investment firm based in the Philadelphia suburb of King of Prussia, has acquired a portfolio comprising 3,434 units across 11 properties in Pennsylvania. Morgan purchased the communities from their original developer, DePaul Management Co. The sale price was not disclosed. Matt Stefanski and Zachary Pierce of Berkadia brokered the transaction.

S. WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. -- Lutheran Senior Services has added four Pennsylvania senior homes to its portfolio, expanding its operations into the Keystone State. St. Louis-based Lutheran Senior now operates The Lutheran Home at Topton in Berks County, Luther Crest in South Whitehall Township, Lehigh County, and homes in Lewisburg and Carlisle. Before this acquisition, it operated only in Illinois and Missouri.

A York man has been charged with murder in the death of an inmate at a state prison in Cumberland County on Tuesday, according to Pennsylvania State Police. Shaquille Tyrin Gibson, 30, of York was the cellmate of the deceased man, 57-year-old Bernard Grover, also known as Kevin Beattie, of Philadelphia, state police said in a news release.
