Navajo language children’s puppet television show wraps
MOAB, Utah — “Navajo Highways” puppet television show just wrapped and can be viewed by the public in less than a year. The educational TV series will brings the richness of Navajo culture and tradition to young viewers through the use of Navajo-speaking puppets. The project was supported by a grant from the New Mexico Public Education Department (PED), which saw the value in the show’s ability to help with language preservation.
