Getz has been selling cars for 36 years at Nereson Automotive in Detroit Lakes, but that is only half of his almost 70 years in the car business.
Intentional Damage to Property Reported at TRF Business
A Redby area man was cited following a disturbance Tuesday at a Thief River Falls business. Clarence Spears Junior (33) was cited for 4th Degree Intentional Damage to Property. According to the report, sheriff’s deputies were dispatched after a caller reported that “someone was just in our bathroom and ripped the paper towel dispenser off the wall along with pictures”.
One Injured in Detroit Lakes Vehicle Rollover

Fatal Single Vehicle Crash Wednesday Afternoon Near Randall
(KNSI) – A 69-year-old Cushing man died in a single-vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon. The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office says the incident happened on 230th Street, about three miles west of Randall. Bryan Wahl left the roadway just after 3:00 and hit an approach. First responders attempted life-saving measures, but they could not revive him. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
