Pennsylvania House Leader Wants Trump Shooting Investigated
A Pennsylvania Republican leader thinks the shooting at a Trump rally should be looked into. Pennsylvania House Republican Leader Bryan Cutler is introducing legislation to look into the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, in Butler. House Resolution 501 would form a House Select Committee to investigate the actions and response of state and local law enforcement following the assassination attempt. The bipartisan committee would then produce a report on the incident no later than November 30th. Cutler says the committee will not be looking to assign blame, but rather it seeks to discover how law enforcement can better improve practices going forward.

PSP investigating burglary at Shippensburg smoke shop, have two in custody for hindering apprehension
22 July 2024- Two Shippensburg men are facing charges of hindering the apprehension of other men who broke into a smoke shop over the weekend. PSP have charged both Ashley Saintfleur and Steeve Blaise with two felony counts of hindering apprehension, misdemeanor receiving stolen property, misdemeanor tampering with evidence, and felony aiding consummation of crime. Blaise was also charged with misdemeanor resisting arrest, misdemeanor evading arrest on foot, and misdemeanor marijuana possession. Blaise failed to post bail of $85,000 and Saintfleur failed to post bail of $50,000. Both remain behind bars in Cumberland County.
