The grand opening of Raising Cane's in Greendale is around the corner. The July 30 event will also mark the first Raising Cane's to open in the Milwaukee County area.

In addition to the popular chicken food chain coming to the area, customers can look forward to the chance to win free food for a year.

When is Raising Caine's opening in Greendale?

The grand opening will take place on Tuesday, July 30. So far, there are currently two Raising Cane's locations in Wisconsin: one in Madison at 579 State St. and the other in Kenosha at 6303 75th St.

There are also plans for a fourth Wisconsin location in Brookfield that's slated to open on Sept. 5 at 12660 W. Capitol Drive.

The Louisiana-based chicken chain first proposed a new location in Greendale in March of 2023.

The new Raising Cane's will be located at 5250 S. 76th St., which was the former site of a DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse.

The company confirmed the plans on its official X account in February:
