Perry baseball, softball sweep Greene County
Baseball (9-15) In between a pair of losses, the Bluejays earned a sweep against Greene County (1-16) this season after defending Perry’s home diamond with a 1-0 win. Putting most at-bats into play, the Bluejays struck out a season-low one time, providing a chance at bases in almost every appearance. That led to five singles from five batters, but it was Gabriel Beato-Amparo who was the first and only player from both dugouts to cross home plate — earning the go-ahead run in the fifth inning.
