BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - Low pressure at the surface... and in the upper levels of the atmosphere... located over Southern New England will slowly drift northward over the next 24-48 hours. This will bring us more clouds from south to north today along with the chance for some isolated showers. The brightest conditions will be around Millinocket and points northward and as a result these will be the warmest locales today too. The increase in clouds will make for a cooler day elsewhere especially as you get closer to the coast where we’ll have an onshore breeze too. Temperatures today will only be in the 60s to near 70° along the coast and low to mid-70s inland. Areas from Millinocket northward will see highs in the upper 70s to low 80s. Skies will be mostly cloudy tonight with patchy fog and isolated showers. Temperatures will drop to the upper 50s to mid-60s.
