St. Louis — Fans Had a Blast at Green Day’s “The Saviors Tour”
Green Day filled Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre with punk rock and, for many, nostalgia Thursday night at their nearly sold-out performance. By the end of the steamy August night, no one cared how they looked because they’d just been treated to not one but two full albums performed live and in person by everyone’s favorite punk rock band. Green Day’s on tour this year celebrating the 30th and 20th anniversaries of Dookie and American Idiot, respectively. They also included a newer single, “The American Dream Is Killing Me” from their January 2024 Saviors album, “Dilemma” and others. The fast-paced concert ended with one song cut and a sped up “Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)” as thunderstorms grumbled.
