Pennsylvania Establishes Specialized Office for Dementia Care Coordination
Pennsylvania is set to establish a dedicated office within the Department of Aging to lead initiatives and coordinate care for approximately 300,000 residents suffering from dementia and related disorders. Governor Josh Shapiro recently signed a state budget that includes funding for this new Alzheimer’s, Dementia, and Related Disorders (ADRD) office.
