    NHS FBLA qualifies groups for national conference

    Northside High School’s Future Business Leaders of America club had a successful State Leadership Conference in Greensboro last week. Several club members placed in the top 10 in the state for their events. Two groups qualified for Nationals in Orlando this summer.

    Achievements include:

    • Tyson George, Malikai Griffin and Max Vansant – Digital Video Production – First place, National Qualifier

    • Anna-Douglas Taylor, Mason Newman and Lauren Rouse – Public Service Announcement- 4th place, National Qualifier

    • Emily Respess and Starla Fuller – Hospitality and Event Management- Top Ten

    • Evan Roberson – Future Business Leader – Top Ten

    • Kayla White – Job Interview – Top Ten

    • Maria Winfield and Morgan Lewis – Networking Infrastructures – Top Ten

    • Aiden O’Kane and Austin Poole – Spirit Web Theme and Banner- 1st Place

    “I’m so proud of these two teams for making it to the National Leadership Conference,” said Northside FBLA sponsor Kristin Vansant. “This is a huge accomplishment that they worked so hard for.”
