July heat settling back in on Kansas

(KWCH) - The last weekend in July is shaping up to have some typical Kansas heat, but next week could get dangerous for much of the area as highs are likely to top 100 degrees on a large scale. Several Salina Fire Department crews responded to a fire at the Speakeasy Bar and Grill, 2030 S Ohio Street, in Salina, this afternoon. Salina Fire Department Battalion Chief Chris Stansberry said at approximately 1:30 p.m. on July 25, Fire Engine Two responded to the Speakeasy within three minutes of receiving the call of a fire near the restaurant.
