Conservancy: Plan to Reef Ship Not Set Yet
The SS United States Conservancy has responded to a report on Get the Coast on the agreement to purchase and reef the historic ocean-liner. The U.S. District Court denied the Conservancy’s request for a three-month extension at the ship’s Philadelphia pier, ruling instead that we have until September 12 to present a formal agreement to the court to remove the ship from Pier 82.

Women's Volleyball Takes Down Hood College in Season Opener
Fredrick, MD – Notre Dame of Maryland's Women's Volleyball Team traveled to Hood College to take part in a tri-match to open the 2024 season. The Gators swept the host in the first match of the day before falling to Penn St. Harrisburg in a nonconference match up by a score of 3-1 to close out the day.

Bermudian Springs Cruises Past York Suburban (Photo Gallery)
YORK SPRINGS, PA – Bermudian Springs hosted York Suburban in a YAIAA matchup Friday night at Alumni Field. The Eagles got the win over the Trojans 42-14. In the first quarter, both teams started the game with lengthy drives that both resulted in a punt. Then, at 5:57 left in the first, Bermudian’s Lane Hubbard threw a 10-yard pass to Dylan Hubbard for a touchdown, making it 6-0. The PAT attempted by Jacob Keller missed the uprights, keeping it 6-0. The Trojans would get a couple more opportunities to score in the first, however, penalties and pressure on QB Rylan Bratton kept the Trojans scoreless in the first.
