Fort Dale Academy seniors Alli Butts and Kate Turner were honored with the 2024 Camellia Girl Ambassador Scholarship from the Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce at the Chamber’s monthly board meeting on June 12. Both students received a $500 scholarship.

“The Camellia Girl/Chamber Page program aims to provide local young women and men with opportunities to engage with the business and commerce community,” said Chamber Director Tracy Salter. “They act as ambassadors for the City and Chamber of Commerce at various community events throughout the year.”

Participants in the program gain insight into the responsibilities and requirements of corporate citizenship. The program educates students about the Chamber of Commerce, business and commerce, city and county government, and the significance of community service.
