MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - The Montgomery City Council Public Safety Committee is considering two ordinances that could address criminal activity in the capital city. The committee is revisiting a discussion on implementing a citywide curfew for minors, which would prohibit them in public places after 9 p.m. from Monday through Friday and after 11 p.m. on the weekends.

Arrest made in Monday deadly Alex City shooting
ALEXANDER CITY, Ala. (WSFA) - Police in Alexander City have arrested a man in connection to a deadly shooting on Monday. Authorities say 25-year-old Lavontae Parker is charged with the murder of 40-year-old Stephen Huntley.
