Jackowsky Earns Second NABC Honors Court Honor
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Penn College senior Max Jackowsky (Garnet Valley, Pa.) was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court, it was announced Wednesday. It was Jackowsky’s second time receiving the honor. The NABC Honors Court includes junior, senior and graduate student men’s basketball players who finished the 2023-24 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. The NABC’s academic awards include honorees from all levels of college basketball. Over 2,100 players earned spots on the NABC Honors Court. Pa. company laying off 70 people
The Radian Group, a mortgage insurance company, is laying off approximately 70 people in Chester County. Radian Group Inc. filed a WARN (Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act) notice with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry informing that state it is laying off the employees at 550 East Swedesford Road in Tredyffrin Township near Wayne.

The Dover Police Department is putting out an alert about a recent uptick in calls regarding juveniles using Gel-Blaster guns, commonly referred to as Orbeez, including “drive-by” style incidents.
