    Farmers Market

    NAMI meetings

    The National Alliance on Mental Illness in Pitt County holds family support group meetings at 6:30 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday of the month in Room 208 at Covenant Church, 4015 Corey Road. The group welcomes anyone age 18 or older who has a family member with a mental illness. Email namipittco@gmail.com or call 902-6264.

    Bocce

    The Greene County Senior Center, 104 Greenridge Road, Snow Hill, offers bocce games at 9 a.m. every Wednesday, and visitors can make puppy treats for the Greene County Animal Shelter at 12:30 p.m. on Thursdays.

    Ayden First Friday

    Downtown Ayden will hold its First Friday event starting at 6 p.m. on Friday. Visit downtown businesses, the Ayden Museum on Second Street and Veterans Memorial Park. Upcoming events are Oct. 6, Nov. 3 and Dec. 1. Visit facebook.com/downtownayden.

    Eppes Alumni Weekend

    The Greenville Industrial-Eppes High Alumni Association will hold its 44th Reunion Weekend Celebration Friday-Sunday on the campus of C.M.     Book Worms Book Club

    Pitt Street Brewery, 630 S. Pitt St., will host The Pitt Street Book Worms book club from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, featuring book discussions paired with hand-crafted beers. Additional meetings will take place on the first and third Sundays of each month. No prior registration is required and attendance is free.

    Grifton Museum

    The Historic Museum and Indian Village of Grifton, 437 Creekshore Drive, is open 1-5 p.m. on the first and third Sunday of each month. Appointments are also available by calling at 524-0190. Admission is always free.

    Business After Hours

    The Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce will hold its July Business After Hour from 5:30-7 p.m. on July 11, at Simply Divine Oil & Wine, 692 E.     Mid-Atlantic Reptile Expo

    A Mid-Atlantic Reptile Expo will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 20 at the Greenville Convention Center, 303 S.W. Greenville Blvd. Cost is $10 and those 12 years and younger are admitted free.

    Make a Blanket

    Trinity Free Will Baptist Church, 3111 Golden Road, Greenville, is hosting Make a Blanket Day from 9 a.m. to noon on July 27. The event is sponsored by Project Linus of Beaufort, Greene and Pitt counties. Visit projectlinus.org.

    Multicultural Arts Festival

    Emerge Gallery & Art Center will host the inaugural Mosaic Multicultural Arts Festival 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sept. 21 in collaboration with the City of Greenville and other partners at the Town Common, 105 E.
