Quasar Health taking over CarolinaEast Family Medicine Clinic

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — Quasar Health Solutions is taking over the CarolinaEast Family Medicine Clinic in Greenville Wednesday.

Several patients had questions after that office closed unexpectedly. Quasar’s CEO Dr. Sean Feinberg said they acquired the office in December of 2023. The company is now in the process of getting everything back up and running.

“The patients got left in limbo with medications here. I’ve been on the phones. I’ve been talking to patients,” Dr. Feinberg said. “I’ve been talking to the pharmacies. We’re getting medications refilled appropriately. So we have a lot of backlog that we’re going through. I would say that we’re excited and we’re here for the long haul. This is not, you know, something that we’re kind of in and out. We’re here.”

He said they will have a full-time doctor beginning July 15.
