Winterville movie
Winterville Parks and Recreation will continue its Summer Movie and Concert Series with “Trolls Band Together” on Friday at the Winterville Recreation Park Amphitheater, 332 Sylvania St. The animated film is rated PG. Pirates in the Port
Historic Bath State Historic Site will host Pirates in the Port from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday at 100 S. Harding St. There will be demonstrations of black powder pirate weapons as well as other displays on beer brewing, static weapons, navigational Instruments and charts, ropework, sailmaking and more.
Health event
Phillippi Missionary Baptist Church, 2665 Virginia St., Simpson, will host “Go Pro for Your Health,” an annual community health event, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. There will be door prizes, lunch and more. The event aims to provide health care and nutrition education and health screenings. Mid-Atlantic Reptile Expo
A Mid-Atlantic Reptile Expo will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Greenville Convention Center, 303 S.W. Greenville Blvd. The expo is an event geared toward reptile and amphibian enthusiasts. Cost is $10 and those 12 years and younger are admitted free.
Forts and Hideouts
River Park North, 1000 Mumford Road, Greenville, will host Forts and Hideouts from 9-10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Staff will provide the opportunity for children age 5 and older to practice the art and science of fort building in a safe and supervised manner. Social dance
USA Dance Chapter #6046 will host a social dance from 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the Turnage Theatre, 150 W. Main St., Washington, N.C. The event will include a Cha-Cha lesson and dancing in the gallery. Cost is $10 each.

Salvation and Praise Full Gospel Church Ministries, 9243 W. Marlboro Road, Farmville, will host a liver transplant benefit service at 4 p.m. Sunday to assist Suzanne Sheppard, co-pastor at Victory & Dominion WOC in Snow Hill.
