The Chainsmokers, Wiz Khalifa to headline two-day Voyage Musical Festival at Heritage Park

Prepare for liftoff ― Simpsonville's Voyage Musical Festival is going on its second year, and with it comes Grammy-nominated artists.

Last year, Khalid was a major name that graced the stage of CCNB Amphitheatre at Heritage Park . On Aug. 13, the festival announced EDM group The Chainsmokers and rapper Wiz Khalifa among this year's lineup.

The two-day event will take place on Friday, Oct. 25, and Saturday, Oct. 26.

Here's what music lovers should know about the festival.

What other artists will take the stage at Voyage Music Festival?

Mainstream listeners of Khalifa know him best for singles "Black and Yellow" and "See You Again," the heartfelt Fast & Furious song dedicated to the series' late Paul Walker. The Chainsmokers also have radio hits ranging from "Something Just Like This" featuring Coldplay and Halsey collab "Closer." These artists are sure to turn the party up at Heritage Park, but there are other names included in this year's lineup that you should know about if you plan on purchasing a ticket, including:

When do doors open?

Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. Friday and 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Is the event for all ages?

All ages are welcome to the event, and kids under three years old will receive free admission.

The show will go on whether rain or shine

The festival will work closely with the National Weather Service to monitor the forecast, ensuring a safe experience for all attendees.

How much are tickets and where can I purchase them?

Tickets can be purchased through the Voyage Musical Festival website and will go on sale beginning Friday, Aug. 16 at 10 a.m. The website does not currently display ticket prices, but they may go live during the public on sale.

Ticket tiers are as follows:

∎ 2-Day General Admission: Includes access to the party, front-row access to Silent Disco, main stage views, free activities, food and beverage, and retail vendors.

∎ 2-Day VIP: Includes everything from the General Admission ticket plus exclusive VIP at the main stage (front row access), first come/first served seating, VIP entrance, and private cash bars.

∎ Super VIP: The premier luxury experience includes everything from VIP and General Admission ticket offerings. This ticket will gain you access to the Voyage private lounge, the open-air seating area, an exclusive viewing area with access to the main stage (front row access), and a full bar inclusive of all alcoholic beverages and nonalcoholic (food not included). Ticket holders will also get exclusive VIP entrance and private restrooms.
