Former South Carolina women's basketball star A'ja Wilson is in the starting lineup for the Las Vegas Aces against the Indiana Fever on Wednesday.

Aces coach Becky Hammon said she'll "be watching" Wilson when asked if she'd be on a minutes restriction.

Wilson didn't play in Sunday's 75-71 loss to the New York Liberty, in which she wore a T-shirt with South Carolina coach Dawn Staley on it. She tweaked her ankle late against the Connecticut Sun last Friday.

Wilson has only missed three regular-season games since being drafted by the Aces in 2018.

Wilson leads the WNBA in points per game this season with 27.3 and is averaging 11.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists.

The Aces will play the Fever again on Friday, featuring rookie sensation Caitlin Clark and former Gamecocks star Aliyah Boston. The Aces have four regular-season games remaining before the postseason begins. With a record of 22-13, the Aces have clinched a playoff berth and currently hold the fourth seed.
