    Things to do this weekend

    Disney’s “The Lion King” continues at the Peace Center through Sept. 29. Disney recommends the show for ages 6 and older. Tickets are available at the Peace Center box office and at peacecenter.org .

    Movies at the Mill, a free family-friendly event with food trucks, outdoor games, popcorn, and more, is at Judson Mill Sept. 13. Movies start at dusk. For details, visit facebook.com/judsonmilldistrict .

    Land of Oz in Beech Mountain, North Carolina hosts the annual Autumn at Oz Festival, celebrating the 85th anniversary of the classic MGM film, “The Wizard of Oz,” Sept. 13 – 15 and 20 – 22. Tickets and details are available at landofoznc.com .

    Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at TCMU-Greenville through Sept. 21. Create a paint-by-number mural with local artists We Art Design in Exploration Station, read “Mango, Abuela, and Me” during story time, learn more about mindfulness with Guatemalan worry dolls in Healthy Hustle, find out more about the big contributions from Hispanic scientists in steamWorks, create dried clay pottery in Open Art and more.     Wings for All, for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families, is at noon Sept. 14 at the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport. Wings for All was founded by The Arc of the United States in 2014 to provide individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and their families with a real-life simulation of the air travel experience without leaving the ground. This event also offers vital training for airline and TSA staff on how to better serve individuals with IDD and their families, ensuring their safety and comfort.
