Wisconsin man indicted for kidnapping 13 year old Upstate girl

A Wisconsin man has been indicted following the kidnapping of a Greenville girl, in February of this year.

The U.S. Dept. Of Justice says 35 year old, Tyler Michael Berlick has been indicted on federal charges of traveling out of state to engage in sex acts with a minor, transporting a minor out of state to engage in sexual conduct and producing child sexual abuse material.

As we previously reported, Berlick was arrested after investigators say he traveled to the Upstate to have sex with a 13 year old girl and then transported the girl back to Florida.

He faces a maximum sentence of life in federal prison, there's no parole in the federal system. This case should  remind parents to be vigilant about their children's online activity, as Berlick met the girl in an online gaming platform.
