A Greenville restaurant has new features after reopening following renovations to a well-established eastside retail center.

Golden Llama Peruvian Rotisserie & Grill has reopened equipped with a new bar and redesigned menu following the completion of outdoor courtyard renovations completed by Aston at the North Hills Shopping Center, according to a news release.

Golden Llama’s new bar features TVs, along with a selection of Latin American liquors and beers, the release stated. The redesigned menu includes a variety of traditional Peruvian dishes, while continuing to offer customer favorites.

In addition, the restaurant and bar is looking to extend its hours in the coming months, according to the release.

Bruno Rizzo, owner of Golden Llama, said the restaurant’s improvements were influenced by a desire to keep the customer experience a priority.

“At Golden Llama, the customer experience is always the top priority,” he said in the release. “That’s why we’ve added an exciting new bar and redesigned our menu to showcase innovative Peruvian flavors elevating the vibrant dining experience for our guests. We hope that Golden Llama is a place where people can gather after work, relax, and enjoy authentic Peruvian dishes.”

The renovations of the newly paved courtyard are part of a multimillion-dollar investment Aston has made to reimagine North Hills, the release stated. In addition to the arrival of Sprouts Farmers Market this fall, upgrades to the center include updated facades and storefronts plus parking lot repairs to enhance the entire shopping center.

Renovations to North Hills are expected to be completed by the end of 2024.
