GREENVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) – A flash flood warning has been issued for the east-central area in Greenville County.

The warning is in effect until 11:15 p.m., and any flooding would likely occur over a short term.

Officials advise to listen for any flooding reports from the east side of Greenville, down through Mauldin and Simpsonville.

More records expected to shatter as long-running blanket of heat threatens 130 million in U.S.

Rain has reportedly moved out of the area, so water levels should drop quickly once the runoff quits.
