Upstate technical staffing pioneer launches professional staffing services

GREENVILLE — The Hiring Group (“THG”), a technical staffing firm based in Greenville, South Carolina, recently celebrated 10 years in business and debuted its new professional staffing service offerings in finance, legal, administrative, and human resources. These areas extend the company’s established staffing capabilities beyond the technical field, where it currently connects a wide variety of customers, ranging from local businesses to Fortune 500 companies, with IT and engineering contractors.

“We’ve received consistent feedback from our customers about their need for more support in different areas of their business,” says Chris Yarrow, THG co-founder and managing partner. “We’ve been growing our team to prepare for this launch on a national scale while continuing to meet the need for technical staffing solutions for our customers.”

Since its inception, the team has distinguished the company by maintaining a unique view of the staffing industry and leading in the area of contract employee benefits. THG has taken great care to consider the balance between the individual needs of contract employees and the dedication to extend a superior service experience to clients. Expanding its portfolio with professional staffing services, THG looks to become a stronger partner to its existing customers and support even more businesses across the United States. The technical staffing industry has been upended by THG’s pioneering offer of Fortune 500 level benefits to their contract employees instead of the standard “meets minimum requirements” health benefits offerings that are synonymous with the industry and paying 50% of the employee cost makes them a 1 of 1 company nationwide. Bringing this 1 of 1 approach to the professional staffing industry, THG looks to disrupt this space as well.

“Since we launched this business, we’ve sought to make a difference to our customers by always doing the right thing,” says Brooks Israel, THG co-founder and managing partner. “We’ve built a reputation for maintaining long partnerships and are proud to leverage our experience to support businesses with professional staffing services.”
