UNL professor contributes to the research behind 'Twisters' movie
LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The blockbuster “Twisters” is set to hit theaters July 19, and will feature many realistic depictions of severe weather. Much of those depictions are based real science, which production consulted real scientists to gather. One program they studied was TORUS, a collection on colleges research programs that chases storms and collect data by flying drones into them.
