After lightning strikes delay postponed his Phoenix stadium concert for a day, Kenny Chesney ran into some more heavy rain on tour at his Mile High Stadium show in Denver. Kenny’s “Sun Goes Down 2024 Tour” stop had to hold doors, then delay following Megan Moroney’s set last night. But nothing could put a damper on Chesney’s sixth appearance at the storied home of the Broncos.
RTD chief of police, now under investigation, routinely drove agency vehicle over 100 mph, records show
According to data obtained by CPR News, the chief of police at the Regional Transportation District was frequently driving an agency vehicle at speeds exceeding 100 mph. Between November 2023 and May 2024, the vehicle assigned to Joel Fitzgerald, Sr. recorded over a dozen trips where it traveled at speeds exceeding 100 mph. Additionally, there were dozens of trips where the vehicle traveled at speeds over 90 mph, as per the data logged by a transponder attached to the vehicle.
