2 accused in residential theft, vehicle break-in

Thirty-nine-year-old Jessica Adams of Mount Pleasant and 44-year-old Shae George of Heber Springs are in the Izard County Detention Center.
‘Broken Trail’ Movie Being Filmed in Arkansas
According to several sources, an independent Western film, “Broken Trail,” is being filmed in Van Buren. “Broken Trail” is directed by Johnny Remo and produced by Skipstone Pictures. Reminiscent of the Wild West, the movie is set on the backdrop of the Arkansas River Valley, with freshly laid dirt coating the streets of Van Buren’s downtown.

NORTH LITTLE ROCK — The New Hope Baptist Church Social Service Ministry will give food away on Thursday, July 25 at 1821 Edmonds St North Little Rock. Under the leadership of Pastor Dr. George Shears III, New Hope Baptist serves the community of North Little Rock with food giveaways on the fourth Thursday of the month. Last year, they served 1,752 families and provided 83,797 pounds of food. Members donated 2,124 volunteer hours.
