According to several sources, an independent Western film, “Broken Trail,” is being filmed in Van Buren. “Broken Trail” is directed by Johnny Remo and produced by Skipstone Pictures. Morrilton Depot Museum highlights area's agriculture history
The Morrilton Depot Museum volunteers manned a booth at last week’s Main Street Morrilton Farmers' Market where they had on display various farmers' tools, mostly from yesteryear, including a plow, cotton farming tools, a “pick sack”, and cotton bolls. Another item that was displayed was a 1919 pressure cooker and its cookbook. It was given to the museum by the descendants of the Oates family of Oppelo, and it represents one of the first three pressure cookers in Conway County. The other two were owned by the E. E.
