The Ford Report: Summertime Fun and Peanut Butter!

Summertime is a time full of vacations, camping, festivals and all sorts of activities, and those activities require a lot of energy! Not only from the adults that have to plan and execute all that fun, but all the kids expending gobs of energy now that the sun is finally out! And sometimes, being that the kids are out of school, funds are tight to make sure there’s enough fuel to keep those kids running and jumping all summer long! Peanut Butter is a fantastic source of protein that provides this much needed fuel to power all these summertime activities. So, Gresham Ford is collecting Peanut Butter for SnowCap our local food pantry in the hopes of filling the gap for families to get them through the summer! We’ll have a collection box at our booth at the upcoming Gresham Festival of Arts, 9am-5pm, July 20th in downtown Gresham.

And are you ready for all the fun that’s happening this weekend?

Beginning tomorrow evening, July 18th, 5:30pm-8:30pm Third Thursday takes over downtown Gresham! Street fair, vendor booths, live music and to top it off a live Comedian show at the Center for the Arts Little Theater with two shows, 7pm and 10pm. Then on Friday, July 19th, 5pm-9pm there will be Music Under the Stars with amazing live bands and special offerings from the local stores and restaurants! Come out and enjoy all the best our great little town has to offer! There will also be a silent auction benefiting the Center for the Arts Foundation!

And finally, Saturday, July 20th, 9am-5pm, the Gresham Festival of Arts with 150 juried artists, the Original Farmers Market, Interactive Art on the Plaza and an incredible Kids Village with more activities than you can count!
