The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office asked the public for help in identifying the subject in a July 30 shooting that resulted in no injuries.

According to an Aug. 20 press release from CCSO, the suspect — described as a thin white man with curly hair in his early 20s — shot at two men in the Clackamas Town Center JC Penney parking lot near the entrance to the MAX green line.

The sheriff’s office said the suspect got out of a black older-model two-door Cadillac before shooting a pistol at the two men from about 20 yards away. The suspect then got back in the car, which was occupied by two other people, and fled the scene.

The sheriff’s office provided a sketch of the suspect and a surveillance photo of the Cadillac, urging anyone with information about the individual or the car to call the tip line at 503-723-4949 or by using the online form at www.clackamas.us/sheriff/tip, referencing case number 24-015726.
