Lexington animal care takes in 16 pets over 24 hours, highlights preventable cruelty
LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — It was a long Sunday for Lexington-Fayette Animal Care and Control (LFACC), which took in a variety of dogs on Sunday despite being at capacity. LFACC posted on Facebook around 1 p.m. on Tuesday that staff took in 15 dogs and a sick kitten on Sunday. Each animal was reportedly in a state of neglect. “Sadly,” LFACC said, “not all of these animals could be saved.”
