There’s really no replacing a solid chicken wing. When you’re hungry for a plateful of wings, there isn’t anything that can satisfy. And there’s also nothing like heading out to a restaurant and watching a game with your buddies while chowing through rings with just the right sauce. Unlike a pizza, where you have to compromise with those around you regarding what toppings to get, with wings, everyone can order their favorite. So, if you are a lover for chicken wings, there’s good news because a new Phoenix wing restaurant has opened.

Located inside the Collier Center at 201 East Washington Street (Suite 109) in Phoenix, Midwest Wings XL is freshly opened and ready to satisfy all your finger food cravings.

Wings are available in 6, 12, 24, and 50-piece orders, and you can also order chicken tenders. Daily lunch specials (running from 11 AM until 3 PM) include a three-piece tender special and a five-piece wing special, both of which are served with fries and a drink.

Speaking of fries, you can go with seasoned fries or Midwest fries. Midwest fries are about as close to poutine as you can get. These seasoned fries are topped off with cheese, sauce, meat, and other goodies. Loaded fries come with additional meat and include flavors such as chicken Philly, buffalo chicken, and Philly cheesesteak.

When ordering sauces, you have your choice of sauces and dry rubs. There’s nothing like a dry rub on a juicy chicken wing, and the rub options at Midwest Wings XL include lemon pepper, cajun, garlic parmesan, and Nashville hot. Sauces include Midwest BBQ, sweet chili, buffalo, blue cheese crumbles, honey garlic, honey hot, Asian zing, mango habanero, Midwest heat, golden BBG, and alfredo.

Want something more than just wings? A menu favorite is the Detroit-style corned beef sandwich, which is overflowing with corned beef and toasted to perfection. It’s the kind of sandwich that will probably require a nap afterward, but if you’re hungry, few things can top this kind of sandwich.

Midwest Wings XL is open Monday through Thursday from 11 AM until 9 PM, Friday and Saturday from 11 AM until 10 PM, and on Sunday from 5 PM until 10 PM.

If you’re hungry for some juicy, sauced (or dry-rubbed) up chicken wings, stop by Midwest Wings XL. There’s plenty of flavor goodness to go around, and there’s truly nothing like finding a new wings restaurant that hits the spot.
