If you are a lover of Greek food, gyros, classic Greek salads, or you just can’t get enough of tzatziki, than you know there’s nothing like a speedy counter restaurant that makes you on the spot. Instead of sitting around, waiting for your meal to come out you can watch as it's prepared and then either eat it inside the restaurant or get it and go. After all, sometimes you don’t have time to linger around the shop or maybe grab a second refill of Coke Zero. However you like your Mediterranean and Greek cuisine, you’re in luck because a popular restaurant is expanding in metro Phoenix, making it easier than ever before to nab some of your favorites.
The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill officially opened its second Arizona restaurant in Gilbert. Not long ago, it launched its debut restaurant in Scottsdale at 9280 East Via de Venture. Now, the all-new location can be visited at 4972 South Power Road (Suite 107).
The restaurant features all of your favorite Greek and Mediterranean meals, many of which are grilled right in front of you. So, not only do you receive a fresh meal, but you can watch as your chicken is cooked to perfection, complete with grill marks (because who doesn’t like that little extra char).
There’s plenty to choose from when visiting The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill. The appetizer menu starts off with Avgolemono soup (chicken, lemon juice, rice, and pita bread), and you can order sides of hummus, tirokafteri (cream cheese based with feta, and roasted peppers), melitzanosalata (roasted eggplant with olive oil, lemon juice and garlic) and tzatziki with pita bread included.
Hungry for a salad? Really nobody does salads like a Greek restaurant. Here you will find the classic Greek salad, and the Great Greek Rice Bowl (featuring rice pilaf, romaine lettuce, cucumbers, garbanzo beans, tomatoes, red onions, kalamata olives, and feta).
If you’re a lover of gyros, you can opt for The Great Greek Gyro (gyro meat or chicken breast, with romaine lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, tzatziki, and feta), falafel, and a Greek salad wrap. There is even an Athenian burger (certified Angus beef, romaine lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, tzatziki, and feta). Plus, there are several entrees, like the souvlaki plate, mezze plate, and the Great Greak plate.
If you feel like stopping by, The Great Great Mediterranean Grill is open seven days a week from 11 AM until 9 PM
