Beaufort County Community College PN graduates light the way at pinning ceremony
Beaufort County Community College has new nursing graduates for 2024 and they are celebrating. Beaufort County Community College has announced their new practical nursing (PN) graduates with a pinning ceremony that was held on Wednesday July 10. The graduates are Macee Adams, Isabela Burke, Jasmin Corprew, Nykeiya Hollis, Amber Magazine, and Anna Purvis. The ceremony was a traditional lantern lighting and a nursing pledge.

Cops seek Honda driver in possible road rage shooting near Food Lion in Creedmoor
CREEDMOOR, N.C. (WNCN) — On Monday afternoon, the Creedmoor Police Department responded to a shooting that occurred near Food Lion on Wilton Avenue. Police said shots were fired from one vehicle into another as the two proceeded east on Wilton. Kinston Driver License office suspends road skills testing
The Kinston Driver License Office located at 2214 West Vernon Avenue posted the following on their NC DMV Website:. This office will suspend road skills testing each day from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday, July 15 through Friday, July 19 due to road construction in the area of the office location. This office will accept scheduled appointments from 7 a.m.-12 p.m., and will accept walk-in customers from 12 p.m.-5 p.m. Many services such as driver license renewal and duplicates can also be found online at MyNCDMV.gov.
