ANDERSON, TX, (June 21, 2024) - An Anderson resident died on Friday as the result of a collision with a tractor-trailer Friday afternoon in Grimes County. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a 2017 Freightliner was traveling traveling north on Farm-to-Market 244 in Anderson. At around 4:44 p.m., the truck partially left the roadway on a curve. The driver veered left and crossed the centerline, striking a southbound Hyundai Palisade.
