RALEIGH, N.C. — Excel Interior Door, a manufacturer of residential doors, is leaving its Alabama roots to relocate in Winston-Salem, N.C. The company plans to invest $10.5 million on a new manufacturing facility and administrative office. Excel Interior Door received a performance-based grant of $75,000 from the One North Carolina Fund to help with its relocation to North Carolina.
