Bowen Health Clinic Operations Affected By Cyber Outage
Bowen Health Clinics are experiencing intermittent issues related to the global outage caused by the CrowdStrike update. Access to their patient electronic records and other crucial systems, including their phones and computers, were affected. As a result, all medical appointments were canceled for the day, as providers were unable to access patient information. Therapy appointment schedules and their community-based services were unaffected, according to a news release from Bowen Center.

Gary A Wilson, 81, of Cutler, died Friday, July 12, 2024, at IU Arnett Hospital in Lafayette. Gary was born on June 6, 1943, in Carroll County to the late Cleo and Martha Kelly Wilson. Gary’s work life was in the electrical supply business. He started at Ralph David in Logansport at the age of 20 as a delivery man and inside sales. He was also a sales manager in Marion. He retired as an Inventory Control Specialist at Kirby Risk in Lafayette. After retiring Gary enjoyed working in his yard and spending time with his wife and family. On June 16, 1963, Gary married the love of his life Patty Ginn, and she survives. Gary was proud of being “a girl dad”. His girls kept him busy meeting their needs and enjoying their activities. Gary is survived by his wife of 61 years- Pat Wilson. Two daughters: Kristen (Don) Mason and Jenifer (Travis) Collier. His grandchildren: Brock Gasser, Brandon Gasser, Joshua Johnson, Colton Mason, Brianna Mason, Cheyenne Collier, Dakota Collier and Dalton Collier. His great grandchildren: Aziyah, Bella, Ellianna, Layla, Ava, Mareli and Josue. Two sisters: Dixie Ruman and Diana McCracken. Son-in-law: Rob Johnson. He is preceded by his parents and a daughter, Dona Johnson. The Wilson Family invite friends to visit Friday, July 19, 2024, from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Wheeler Family Funeral Home-Baker Chapel, 204 S Center Street, Flora, IN 46929. The celebration of Gary Wilson’s Life will start at 1:00pm. Pastor Dave Falkenberg will officiate. Burial to follow at Maple Lawn Cemetery.
